Rep Codes and Account Opening/Transfer

Rep Codes and Account Opening/Transfer

Do not forget to label your rep codes in your Profile Settings. The DocuSign integration needs to know who the rep is when clients and prospects are submitting account opening and transfer paperwork to the custodian. By labeling your rep codes, DocuSign is letting the custodian know which rep the new account holder belongs to. Make sure you enter this information correctly to ensure another rep isn’t assigned to your account holder.

You will see rep codes options for TD Ameritrade, Charles Schwab, Pershing, Fidelity, and Other. Use Other in the situation that your rep codes does not belong to TD Ameritrade, Charles Schwab, Pershing, or Fidelity. Other can be thought of as a placeholder for whatever the real name of your custodian is. Please limit yourself to one rep code per custodian. You can only add one rep code per custodian.

Once you have labels all of your rep codes, the next section will teach how to build portfolio Models and how to link models to risk tolerance levels.
