Serving much like text or instant message, your client or prospect is able to see your line of communication directly. Once they have a moment to respond, you will receive a message back so the conversation can continue. Many users will use this tool when reviewing their financials or goals. Perhaps you see a notification in your Feed that your client edited one of their goals or they have a question about a document you asked them to sign. You can respond to their inquiries here rather than sending an email, playing phone tag, or relying on your annual review meeting with them to get answers to simple questions. This messaging function allows you and your clients and prospects to stay connected in a realistic way. You will see this option within a contact profile.
Once you have clicked Message, you will be taken to the chat feature where you can communicate back and forth with the client or prospect.
